Sneaker Sum Up - Jan. 31st, 2018

Updated: Feb 5, 2018

Today, we finally get a release date and official images of the Gold Toe Jordan 1, a look at what Nike SB has planned for their next drop, and what Supreme and Nike (and the NBA?) have been cooking.

1. Jordan 1 Gold Toe Official Images

The Jordan 1 Gold Toe finally received a release date of February 16th, and now we have official images of the latest NRG offering from Jordan Brand. Sporting a shiny patent leather upper, this iteration varies slightly from the ComplexCon "Top 3" drop. With stock numbers expected to be more limited than the Bred Toes, these still shouldn't be too hard to track down come All Star Weekend, especially with all the other heat dropping.

2. More Air Jordan 1 "Black Toe" Colorways

After starting the year off with two amazing new colorways for Art Basel Miami, Jordan Brand looks to continue adding new colors to the Black Toe lineup. With photoshop renderings of 3 upcoming releases, we see "Clay Green", "Yellow Ochre", and "Blue Moon" pairs. It is rumored these will be dropping in April, so save up and keep and eye out for updates and early looks.

3. Nike SB x Kevin Bradley

Skater Kevin Bradley teams up with his sponsor Nike SB to bring two summer-ready drops. First, the Nike SB Dunk High comes with a white upper, cherry red sole, and a palm tree insole to pay homage to his roots in California. Next, the Nike Air Force II also has an all white upper, but a blue sole, and a canine graphic on the insole.

Both of these pairs have a unique feature that brings to mind the Lance Mountain collab. The more they are worn, the toe boxes wear away to reveal a new color that matches each pair's sole. Expect to see both of these pairs drop beginning Feb. 8th.

4. CLOT x Nike Air Force 1

CLOT and Nike have a rich history of creative collabs, and their latest drop is no exception. Featuring an all white silk upper with laser etched details underneath, they held nothing back - CLOT even went as far as burning a pair to reveal the etching below. They don't recommend you do the same, but look for these to drop Friday, Feb 2nd.

5. Supreme x Nike AF1 "NBA"

Rounding out today's top stories, is the latest looks at the upcoming Nike and Supreme collab. Boasting all 30 NBA team logos, these AF-1 Mids will come in an all white and all black offering. (might a 3rd red pair be in the works well?) While few details are known at the moment, it is rumored these will release in the SS18 season, and more looks will be coming soon.
