Today, we get a look at the Justin Timberlake x Tinker Hatfield Jordan 3, and a new adidas collaboration.
1. Air Jordan 3 "JTH"
Well, unless you live under a rock or have no social media, I'm going to bet you at least saw the Superbowl last night. And if not, I'm sure someone on your feed posted about the Justin Timberlake x Tinker Hatfield 3s that dropped. And if not, well, welcome to sneaker culture, it's nice to have you!
Last night before his Halftime show, Justin Timberlake posted this photo with the caption "2 minute warning"
Upon initial sight, it looks like he is wearing White Cement 3s. But there is one subtle difference that wasn't immediately noticeable - the swoosh. The 3M swoosh is from an alternate 3 that Tinker Hatfield had created when making the Jordan 3. It was ultimately left off of the final design, but Jordan Brand decided to go back in the vault and release his sketch, which will be coming out soon. In the meantime, Justin teamed up with Tinker and Jordan Brand for a sequel to their 'Legends of the Summer' collab that broke the internet before.
Now, they broke the internet again with him not only wearing these "PE's" (performer exclusives if you will) during his show, but also announcing they would drop on the SNKRS app. In 2018, surprise drops are hard to come by, and this one felt like the days of old. It was tweeted this pair would release after his performance, and within 10 minutes they had dropped on the SNKRS app, and sold out. I tried my hand at a pair and got in line, but was ultimately handed the L. Several people were able to get through, (including the homie @atlas1216) and of course this pair took over social media feeds everywhere.
As many of us took our losses, it was exciting to see a surprise drop again. It had been awhile since something so exciting had released, and it came with some reassuring news too - this would happen again. This shoe is only the first of a collection between Justin Timberlake and Tinker Hatfield (called the JTH collection) and the SNKRS article said to stay tuned for more drops throughout JT's Man of The Woods Tour.

2. adidas x White Mountaineering Superstar Boost
While it is no crazy exclusive, I feel this collab still deserves some light. adidas teamed up with collab favorite White Mountaineering to drop 2 new colorways of the Superstar Boost. Departing from the traditional superstar upper design, these feature some eye popping colors and heather grey upper materials. A generally slept on model, the superstar boost does provide comfort that a normal superstar lacks, so if you need a new pair to rock off and on without hurting your feet all day, I would check these out. They will run you $150, and you can grab em at spots like Sneaker Politics.
